Compare between haemoglobin and chlorophyll?

Both substances contain a metal atom fixed into place between four carbon rings. Nitrogen atoms in the rings hold the metal atoms in place. The structure is known as a porphorin ring. The ring structure has a long hydrocarbon chain to hold it into place. Hemoglobin has an iron atom and chlorophyll has a magnesium atom.
