Acer or Fujitsu notebook?

The Acer you describe has an edge on the Fujitsu as far as components go. Not sure if it is true any more, but Fujitsu was only laptop still being built entirely in Japan 3 or 4 years ago. I've used a Lifebook for about 5 years now. Tended to run hot because the processor is fast and not a mobile/Centrino type. I've run a laptop cooler with 2 fans since the start. Very solid machine in most aspects. If the Acer costs the same or less than the Fujitsu, I'd lean towards the Acer... but Fujitsu has been good. Depends on your needs and abilities, I guess. All the companies seem to have about the same length of warranty. Enjoy whichever you pick.
