I need some advice on a HARD floor for my house, that is scratch resistent due to dogs.?

75lb German Shepherd, we keep her nails short, but our foyer wood floor is so scratched up. I've been looking into bamboo cork, I don't know hwo much I like stone as I have a 1 year old and he falls on his face a lot. What do you think?
