What do I do if i know that a guy is trying to flirt with me?

I have a boyfriend and My friend whose a guy wrote me messages that seemed like he was flirting and asked me to go eat with him my bf found out and he went ballistic what do i do? what do i say to the guy? I don't think it's right to go out with him when its just me and him but i don't know how to tell him.
