Good Introduction for history essay? Advice thanks?

While reading Don’t know much about History by Kenneth C. Davis, I took note of the detailed events, essed the views of the author and agreed as well as disagreed with several of his ideas. This book put the past 300 years into a single volume and accurately informs the reader how and why the event occurred. While the author notifies what happened, he also projects his own opinions and thoughts about the incidents. Further on I will discuss my view against the author’s while giving an overview on the history of America plus America’s influence on the world and what I liked and did not like about this book by Davis.
